We are continuing to explore metal since folks requested it and several members were not able to attend February's Meetup. I have uploaded a Word document and a pdf that gives recipes for patinas and other information for your experimentation. We had decided to try creating patinas on our own since it takes several hours or days. Then we are going to bring samples and report back to each other what happened. One thing that is not covered is rusting. Search your library and online to gather information and experiment with that if you like. Inquiring minds want to know!

Bring embossing metal, embossing powder, stamps, wire, pliers, tin snips or heavy scissors, a mouse pad, designs, stencils, pumches, Dorland's wax medium, embossing tools, etc. to continue having fun with metal. (See February's meeting description.)

Thanks to Irene for bringing sawdust and vinegar for us to try patination. And Linda, thanks for showing me how to use spackle to glue metals together and add texture.

I had a fun time working with metal, especially the copper and silver tape. I could just make shapes or little fans and remove the backing and stick it down. Cool!
